I've been reading that since it's a small island, as the storm passed the waves went westward, and when the storm passed, the waves went eastward coming from the other side. Double whammy!
I hope those relief funds that other governments are offering won't go to corrupt officials. Too many of them around! Bohol had this kind of fate, the mayor didn't want the funds to go directly to those who needed it but to the gov't first for redistribution. Makes me wonder what his priority was.
