My Wife has Family in Cebu and Leyte. Although on Leyte they are on the opposite of the Island from Tacloban.
She had has not been able to contact any of them.
Her Brother lives on their 4 hectare Farm and that Farm is like 500 Yards from the River. There is a River, a dirt Road and the Farm.
It is very likely the River flooded and the Farm got flooded.

My Friend of over 20 Years has a Brother and some Nieces that lived in Tacloban. There is a extremely good chance some were injured or killed. No contact with them either.

Clearly Aid is not going to reach them in enough time or in enough amounts to save them from suffering more.
