The material its made from. 606 uses a MLS gasket (multiple layer steel) instead of the fiber material the 603 gasket is made out of. The gasket lines up, just have to make one hole in it for an oil passage the 606 doesn't have. Supposedly its a secret sauce item the euro guys use on their suped up Benz diesels.

Was hoping somebody knew what all was needed but I may have to call PP and see if they know or can find out. The vacuum pump is coming off because I snagged a nice updated covered bearing pump from the local PnP. I've been reading about the head swap so I'm almost ready. Just have to take the head to machine shop to get checked out before I install it.
