...cheaper to just buy a used one or take your existing W124 and fix everything that's broken...
...gotta be about $10K cheaper to go that route!
If I had the money, that's what I'd do.
And I rebuilt (some) of my VW Beetle years ago for about $12K...with "German" parts!
