I believe the M Pump (on a 617) has the one with 2 Nuts and am sure the MW has 3 Nuts.
The innards of the M Lift Pump are different. I believe it uses disc Valves similar to the ones in your Vacuum Pump.
Rebuild Kits are available for both.
