Don't attempt a clean break with your hands. Harder than you'd think and not humane. Your meat will be flooded with adrenaline and tough.
80 bucks seems pretty pricey unless you're going to slaughter whole litters on a regular basis. On the other hand I am a stickler for humane slaughter, really a little obsessive about it. If I were you that's the one I'd get.

A .22 cb cap to the crown of the head as if you want it to exit the rabbit's nose will do the trick. That's how I've done it in the past.
