Thanks folks for emphasizing the point I was making in post #66!

Today's politicians are in it to be millionaires. They don't GAS at all about you or me. They spend tax payers money by the trillions to advance THEMSELVES. They would pimp their Momma on a street corner for ONE single vote.

Although I think many CEOs are overpaid, it's with their own companies money, NOT the money extorted from taxpayers.

The idea of the founding fathers was for the politicians to do their duty with a minimum of compensation, NOT to become wealthy people off the back of the taxpayers.
