Hi,

I have a 1994 W124 E280T with the 722.5 gear box, with the same problem where the gear box skips the 4th gear and goes from 3 to 5, making the box very sluggish and partially ruining the driving experience ;(

My transmission had an overhaul 2 years ago and ever since it skips the 4th gear, and just really annoys me cause it seems a bit sleepy compared to the way it did before crashed and had its overhaul.

I went back several times and spoke to the mechanic who in the end agreed with me that it 'might' be that the transmission is skipping a gear, but that he also doesn't know what to do with it, since all the mechanical parts inside the transmission were replaced etc.

So my question is, how do I reset the fault codes in the MAS box.
