i bought an "innova" brand tester at o'reilly. pulled the glow plugs and disconnected their wiring harness. a couple of things went wrong. here are my results:

cylinder 1: pegged the needle past 300psi. having opened the package and gotten the tool greasy, i wished it had a higher range.

cylinder 2-5: could not get the attachment and hose both installed due to interference on rack position sensor body (2), injection pump (3 and 4), and oil filter housing (5).

i guess i would have been able to continue if i'd had some kind of flexy or right angle adapter in M12x1.25.
