The hinge where the pedal attaches to the rod, failed tonight. It was only about a year in service! I'm not sure if new pedals are up to the quality of the originals.

Actually I have two W126's, both with new pedals…..Maybe I can swap them tonight (if I don't break them both). I have a lot of driving to do on the car with the broken one tomorrow.

I came here to remind myself how to remove the accelerator pedal. Thanks for the thread.
