I made good money through H.S. and college pushing snow. Then after my wife stopped working after kid#1 (and through kid #4) I put a 6.5' plow on my Jeep and picked up 14 residential accounts around my hood, most of them were retirees. We had a load I snow 3 years ago and I cleared over $5500 in cash. After 5 years of not breaking anything and never needing to replace the original clutch (75K miles) I figured it was time to quit while I was ahead and sold it, effectively getting out of the business. And I don't miss it a bit!

Although after snowblowing last winter, I'm thinking the Suburban could use a plow. Heat, music and a coffee holder has its appeal. Besides I want to be able to retire my father and his tractor from plowing. But that's it!
