the biggest problem I had with the body style was the crappy bushing used to hold the clutch master pushrod to the pedal and the total lack of storage space behind the seat in a single cab. Had the bushing wear out and subsequently damage the pivot itself on 3 different manual tranny trucks, two friends and one of my own, one diesel and two gas. Dealing with that problem is hours of strugging to remove the whole pedal cluster and replacing the pivot rod with something else. Dealer just tries to snap on a new plastic bushing over a worn out pivot, broke off in 2 days.
As an automatic, non issue.
However, having said that, they are awesome trucks. I had a 95 with a 5.0 mustang motor and 5-speed, you could smoke the tires in 3 different gears if you wanted to. Sounded incredible
