1987 300E - replace EHA without adjusting mixture?

Long time since I've posted in this forum - (knock on wood) my current car is doing just fine and hasn't needed much major work in a couple years.

My cousin has my old '98 300E and it's leaking a fair amount of fluid from the EHA. This part looks like a pretty straightforward bolt-on, but most of the threads I've seen talk about adjusting the mixture afterwards, which I'm not super comfortable with. What is the likelihood that just replacing the part will leave the car running fine vs having running issues that will leave me having to tow the car to a shop?

Thanks!
Anthony
