Help & Speedo adjustment
No reply so I will try again.
I was told on the 1976 240d above if the drive shaft doesn't have any vibration don't worry about the center bearing seeming to be loose. I like to fix things before they become a problem so I would like some other opinions from the experts here. Should I be worried about this bearing?
In some of the other threads I noticed the sway bar bushings seem to be a common item to be replaced when any thumping over bumps is heard, how much play should there be in these bushings?
The speedometer is off aprox. 8 mph at 62mph. How do I correct the indicated speed? The car has an automatic transmission.
Thanks
