There is also Number Plate on the Governor Housing. That style of Governor can also be used on Other Bosch Fuel Injection Pumps but would have different inside parts.

I believe the actual number plate has the Bosch Model Number, the Mercedes Part Number for the Pump and may have the Bosch Part Number for the Pump.
I may have mis-spoken in my previous post... That's not an ALDA part number that I photographed. What I photographed is the part number cast on the pump housing itself, on the side facing away from the engine - area I circled in green on the first photo.

I think it is the pump's part number, but I'll go hunting for the stamping you're talking about when the weather warms up a little bit.
