I have a thread here where i put a 84 617 in a mazda truck ..
well now ~10K later i think my ip is giving me grief ..

cold start (20_ out) it idles at 510 ish rpm
warmed up 170deg its idling at 1100

now i know there is supposed to be a idle adjustment on the dash ...
But its shouldn't vary THAT much ...

also ,. right when it starts it lopes, coughs and misses and smokes blue

will get a pic of the IP tomarrow ....
its a funny one with a screw on the back .
vac off on the back and a manual off on the side .


is the IP going bad ?

my injectors were new 10K ago .. but i will pull them soon and test ..

2nd question .. will a 76 300D IP work ?
i have some of those ... seems like needs
1 diff fuel line routing
2 diff throttle cable setup
3 diff injector lines that i have .
