If there any auto glass specialists in your area contact them to see if they have the type of sealant that can be pumped into the gasket. I think it is a non-silicone based product called butyl rubber. I am not an expert on this but believe an auto glass shop will be familiar with the product. Read somewhere that silicone sealers can cause rust???
