Actually arresting someone for a school fight seems strange. There was one big kid in 8th grade who kept poking me, pinching me, making fun of me, generally harassing me, but not resorting to fists. One day, as we were leaving class, he whispered something, and I turned around, kicked him in the gut right under the ribs. Left him there gasping like a fish out of water and crying, probably lucky in retrospect that he didn't have to go to the hospital.

No cops were called, but I was suspended from school for a few days. The weenie never spoke to me or so much as looked at me again -- message got across.
