I had to replace the alternator on my m104 engine.

The belt tensioner hex bolt is stripped.... but I was able to get the alternator off by undoing those bolts and sliding the alternator out.

Welll, that doesn't work on the install. belt is too tight

Bottom line--- what is the best way to loosen and remove the stripped belt tension allen bolt? the stripped head is 10mm.

this looks like it's going to be a toughie.
