Banks for the most part do not care if your data or your accounts are breached. Most people are not millionaires and it's more expensive, in their view, to install protection software.
You have to do certain things yourself. Like make good passwords which are actually easy to remember but hard to duplicate because the dictionary programs used to crack passwords assume you will only use letters.
A simple example of a complex password

Using a dictionary program working at 4GB per second, which is pretty fast,
the average hacker would need roughly
2 with 60 zeroes in front of it in seconds to decode.
1.7 x 10 to the 51st power YEARS
with an AI program cutting that in half, you would still be pretty safe until the next big bang.
Change the program by putting something ina foreign language (like Pin Yin) and the AI program would have an abend and crash (sorry
)
Or, you can just use " password" because it's easier and lose everything quickly.
