The speedo is electric,but I don't think its that.What ever it is is also affected by temperature. As mostly every morning or when engine is cold between 75c and 78c,the motor will bounce rpms 200 to 400 rpms,as I drive or cruise.When I mash gas more for a load or hill it disappears.I believe its do to under hood temperature.So it could be a crank sensor or something else.once the engine is warm 78c or higher,or underhood warm its fine.However I still have problem going over 3,000 rpms.Now I can floor it in first gear,but when it reaches 3,000 it acts like its hit the limiter.Beginning to wonder if my computer is messed up.
