DieselPaul thats pretty funny but you and mannys9130 are correct, I swapped a driver side switch set in for the passenger side. I wanted a way to control a higher Waste_Gate setting and not have to add an aftermarket switch. I didn't take a picture of the new wastegate plumbing but the switch is wired to a solenoid valve.
The valve is normally open which uses the stock wastegate spring tension. When the switch is closed, it closes the valve and the pressure signal is sent to a manual boost controller set to about 11 PSI. Its a simple ball and spring type.
I really admire the way these cars are built and the way they look so I didn't want to disturb the interior appearance. It's the non-invasive way I could think of for the set-up, but there's not much I can get past you guys haha.
