And I'm sure the alda is increasing fuel to match. Tonight i activated the switch with headlights behind me and i could still see some smoke. I know 11.5 is the upper limit from the factory so I assume with the ALDA working correctly, there will be enough fuel to match the extra pressure.
I will say though, its obvious that I have added complexity to the simple wastegate hose. There used to be 2 hose clamps on the 3/8 inch hose, now there's fourteen. Of course you could go with a 2 stage boost controller for about $220 but then you would have to rely on that solenoid for both passages to the waste-gate. This was the least complex way I could think of to have the two different settings. The solenoid valve was $80 shipped from Dudadiesel and its stainless with viton seals for up to 266 degree F. operation.
