I tried feeding the pressure sensor a false vacuum source without any luck. I don't think I can defeat the throttle valve without some electronic trickery. The diagnostic system is way too aggressive. The EGR valve itself should be simple enough to defeat with a small air filter as previously mentioned.

We went over to Malibu today and ran across my sort of twin for sale.
98 274k miles, $7900 I'm sure the turbo is nice but not that nice.
