The number of people suffering from loss of jobs is staggering. the debt has doubled ( after Obama said that Busg's $7T debt was "unpatriotic". The "stimulus" money is still being dolled out to democrats, and we all, and out grandchildren will be paying for that.

For the reasons listed here -
The stimulus act was a success - I think you are completely wrong about the ARRA. I'm not offering that link as authoritative. It just summarizes the situation.

Face it, the dems have run this economy into a rathole.

Right. That's why the economy was losing 800,000 jobs a month when Obama took office. Many of the projections made about the ARRA - the extent to which it would reduce unemployment being the most prominent - were actually close to the mark in terms of the effect the stimulus would have. The reason they have been portrayed in such a poor light was that nobody - literally nobody - knew in late 2008 just how big a hole W left behind.
I'm no economist. You might be able to make an argument for your position about the ARRA (if so, you will be the first to do it,
AFAIK), but to suggest that the GOP had no role in our current economic difficulties seems less than objective to me.
