I was not, but was in an industry which was directly positively impacted by ARRA.

There are two certainties in life. Death & Taxes. Competent people in those fields will never lack for work. I'm not a mortician. I've been employed every day since I turned 27...and that's a long time ago.

My industry was "positively inpacted" () by the ARRA, and PPACA* and the HIRE Act of 2010 and the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010 and the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization and Job Creation Act of 2010 and last but not least the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012.

(I don't have the time to go into the Rev. Rulings, Rev. Procs, Regulations, and Federal Court cases which also impacted our tax laws.)

* Just yesterday I had my first client to get hit with both the .9% "Additional Medicare Tax" and the 3.8% "Net Investment Income Tax", courtesy of the PPACA.

Are you reelin' in the years
Stowin' away the time?
Are you gatherin' up the tears?
Have you had enough of mine?
