They appear to offer the same or similar drive line on the GLK 250 Blue Tec which gets a stated 33/24 but I didn’t see an E class wagon with the 2.5 drive train.

2.1L

Between these 2 cars, I would rather drive the Prius. Its a known quantity with a reputation for reliability. The 2.1L diesel not so much. Who knows how many emissions tweaks MB had to throw at it to meet US standards. You really want to risk fixing that nightmare out of warranty? I didn't think so. We all know the horror stories about the OM642 that came before it.
