I ended up buying some large diameter, hubcentric, 5mm spacers and JB welding them onto the back of the wheels to clear the tie rod. Car drives well. I really notice a difference in feel with the 225's vs the stock 205's. Heavier, more meaty feeling. More road noise by a factor of 4, but the BFG's on there aren't known for their quietness. Car actually tracks better, tuns in better, though that could just be the width of the tires. Using 33/31 PSI F/R as a starting point.
