I am having an issue with the same MB722.315 tranny. When driving and accelerator pedal is quickly depressed for overtaking the box drops a single gear fine but if it has to for any reason drop 2 gears the engine revs come up to +/-5000rpm and the box will select second gear after which engine revs die completely, the engine appears to go into limp mode and wont rev past 1200rpm, almost as if the engine has over revved. the only way to reset the issue is to stop and turn the engine off and back on again and it drives as per normal. The tranny shifts beautifully up and down when driving normally this issue only occurs on a double downshift from 4-2
