I was up in OR w/ my dad for a week one april, I think. It was amazing. Neskowin, Lincoln city, the coast road, mountains, Eugene w/ every shade of green, high desert, wiley coyote land and the Columbia river gorge. I did enjoy it quite a bit.

Nova Scotia is somewhat breathtaking as well.

With good tires a W123 is alright in the snow and slush. Beats a lot of the lighter, low to ground offerings w/ wide tires available these days. Besides, you can swing around a corner like it's hill street blues. Try that in a front wheel drive.
