No but it would not suprise me many thousands of others have experienced this. Ford may have pressed some very poor recycled metal then. Basically there was no floor other than in form from the firewall to the tailgate when it reverted to oxides. Being also a unibody and the same steel seemed to be in the subframes etc as well.

I had a low milage chev vega sport station wagon many years ago. Mine did not develop the typical engine issues. The car was sent to the wreckers because the floor went out in a similar fashion to that ford. Easily put a screwdriver through it anywhere.
