Feel that I can be open with you all and let you know that I will not be able to go on the Northeast trip. My Grandmother has been given three months to live, after which there is a lot of threads to be woven and knotted, including whether I can stay where I am. Financial support has been cut and might soon stop do to the expenses at hand. I feel nothing but frustration that I can’t go on the trip and meet you all. I have no other feelings, especially sadness of loss of a human being. I am not sure if it is because I don’t know how to and/or hasn’t really sunk in. Talking over the phone I can hear she has less energy, but still bouncy and somewhat cheery.
