To firm up turn clockwise.

How much to turn??? Well, put on some real warm clothes cause you're gonna hafta do it a little at a time. Make adjustments in small increments because a little goes a long way here. There are notches that the "T" sit in spaced around the center nut so each notch is about 1/6 turn. I go one notch at a time, then test drive. Repeat until you have it where you want it.
