I dunno. I worked in a USN engine room with a lot of asbestos lagging. It probably means I am a potential plaintiff.

OTOH, I signed-up knowing it was a potentially life-threatening endeavor.

I'm kind of undecided.

Now if asbestos were intentionally introduced to cause me malicious and grave injury I would like to have a legal avenue. But if it was the best practices of the day then I am not so sure.

I think I could be on a jury for this. I'm willing to hear arguments, counsellor.
