The clergy who should not be clergy, for starters, are the pervs who use the collar as a cover to get close to people, to gain their confidence, to act as though they are channeling God's will, etc. That is, those who abuse power. The common theme is people wanting the position for the wrong reasons. And, in both professions, some or more likely many want the position for the right reasons.

I'm glad you asked if you had to explain this - because you did not. I didn't need the obvious explained to me. We all know the obvious similarities.
The fact is (beyond the obvious) there is no connection between the missions of the two professions, as it were.
