In some Muslim countries the religion and the police is VERY intertwined.
Actually in KSA there is the Religious Police.
Some of these "police" are teenagers, but they have uniforms and weapons, and if they catch you, where they think you are, when and where you shouldn't be, they will take out electrical cables and literally WHIP you back to the mosque.
