When my daughter was a teenager, she and I took up Kart Racing. She was a natural to a point that I wish I had started her when she was about 6. Of course, her crew chief always managed to give her the best chassis/tire/gearing setup on the track.
When I dealt with lots of customers, I would take them to an indoor Kart track for entertainment when we had various gatherings. It was fun to watch some of them protest, thinking it was like we were going to take them for a ride in the kiddy cars. Once there and after a few laps, they would be so excited you wouldn't think it was the same person. As we were leaving they would be asking when we could come back.
It's a hoot.
