Just guessing
My best guess is that you would jump a 240 or any other diesel like you would any other car. It may require a longer hookup/charge time with the other vehicle's engine spinning at 2 to2.5 k rpm.
But what really is the difference? All you're doing is getting enough electricity to the system to glow the plugs and crank the motor. Hook up the jumpers as normal. I may be wrong. (but it will only be the third time since my divorce.)
