My uncle is the head of computer security at the Brookhaven National Labs (what he describes as a stressful job because employees there are smart but care little about computer security) and he has all of his sensitive files on Linux, just like most of the labs (as Linux is cheap compared to other operating systems and the labs try to budget as much money possible to research rather than things like operating systems).

Like or dislike OneDrive, the implementation in Win 8.1 is boneheaded. It would seem like they'd want a user account to be married to a given OneDrive account for life, which is silly.
BTW, Office for iPad can also talk to a corporate Sharepoint site, and in future, it may be able to talk to other cloud providers (as well as hopefully doing straight WebDAV Secure). There is other office software for iPad that's much more agnostic about what it can talk to as well. IMHO, MS locking users to only their sharing platforms is pretty inexcusable, since things like Dropbox, WebDAV, or even secure FTP are in common usage.
