the tail lamps and center band turn pink over time with uv exposure. You have to replace all 3 so they match and are clear again. I found a decent used one on Ebay that matched the other 2 lenses in pink aged color.

Think the dealer is expensive? Do you know how much it costs to train a dealer tech? Or buy the required MB special tools to have on hand?
