Same idea, but what if you filled it with silicone? It would be softer, but would still provide some structure to prevent a catastrophic collapse failure. Thoughts?

If you fill the mounts with Shore A 75 urethane it will definitely create significant vibration. If you use a Shore A 30 urethane, it will be indistinguishable from unfilled.
I pioneered the use of urethane to fill mounts because I couldn't tolerate a collapsed mount because of restricted clearance. Took me quite a bit of troubleshooting to realize it was the hard urethane creating my vibration issues and not timing, injectors, rack damper, valves or other possibilities.
Silicone could work, but urethane
does work.
