Remove the nut, think it is a 8mm. If you have a 1/4" ratchet and extension it should fit from the top. been a while since I removed one.

Once the nut is removed the sensor should pull straight up. The Stud the Nut screws onto stays with the Bracket, and it is mounted to the engine.

It might be a slight struggle to get it to move with the dirt, oil and ??? holding it tight.
