That is the other deal breaker for me on electric.

The amount of energy you transfer (in raw BTUs/MJ/your unit of choice) in the time it takes to fill your tank is equivalent to a decent fraction of the output of a power plant (1/15th IIRC).

Until they figure out how to achieve that level of energy transfer in that length of time with a battery, electric will not be able to compete on distance travel.
