I have a 1998 SLK with 120k, the cel came on, I scanned it, the code was p1519 so I changed the cam solenoid and still have the same code after it was cel was cleared.

I checked the solenoid. It shows 8 ohms
The power to the solenoid read 7volts.


The MAS has been cleaned.

I've checked the vacuum lines and found a few dry rotted rubber connectors and have replaced them.

I don't want to just throw parts at it. Anyone have any ideas what to check next?
