What a Beautiful Morning!

Most every Saturday since last fall we have been having to go 120 miles to my moms house to work toward getting it ready to sell. Only a few times I was able to fly there instead of drive. It has limited my flying time to some evenings after work. Flying in the evening rather than morning often means rougher air and since I normally get up at 4AM means limiting beauty sleep.

This morning I didn't have to go to my Moms house, so I was in the air about 15 minutes before Sunrise. The air was SILK smooth, the sky was crystal clear and the temperature was perfect.

I flew to an airport 58 nautical miles away and filled up with fuel. I then flew to my old airport and took the courtesy car to go buy a leaf blower at the local mom and pop stihl dealer.

After visiting with a few buddies I got back in the air and headed to my home airport. Even though thermals were just starting to come up before I got there, it was still smooth, clear and beautiful.

It was still nice, so before putting her away I did some work in the hangar.

What a great morning. Just what I needed.

We'll I have a picture on my IPhone I thought I could attach, but it's not working. Maybe I'll have time Monday at the office to get it on here.
