Low mileage means starts easily and runs smoothly requiring only external engine parts. Transmission shifts as it should. Good maintenance means suspension, brakes and climate are in good repair or close enough to be easily fixed. Interior & body are rust free and in decent shape.

I hate it when every system needs work and having the car stop working is a real possibility.
