I rented a Hyundai Genesis two weeks ago for the first time.

Drove it from Chicago to Lombard, IL and back.

I was blown away. It was a quiet, refined, and powerful car. It was shockingly fast. The seat of the pants impression is that it was as fast as my E430. It has every luxury appointment you can imagine: heated seats, navigation, satellite radio, bluetooth phone connectivity with bluetooth streaming of music to head unit, heated seats, etc.

I won't comment on the aesthetics other than it looked like a high-end luxury car.

I would suggest everyone that has posted an opinion on this thread to go out and drive one and report back on your impression of the car. I think your opinion will change.
