When you point out a persons OBVIOUS weakness that needs correcting it's not an insult, it is pointing out fact. Of course in today's world of political correctness such frankness doesn't go over well.
Anyone taking on a responsibility that effects millions of people owe them the effort to stay healthy. In addition, to be qualified for such a position, they need to have enough self control that they at the very least can control themselves enough to keep themselves from becoming obese. You want to sit on the couch and stuff your pie hole with Big Macs, no problem, but don't expect others to trust our security to such a person with no self control.
