2400 watts eh? Could be a bit much? Doesn't the car begin to rattle and you get sheet metal sounds in your bass? Maybe sound deadened could help a bit.

According to my one spreadsheet you need 230 amps to power that. Even running 0 awg wire you get 0.9 v drop over 12 feet. :O

I've got 2x 500w rms 12" in my 300D. Powered by a PPI amp of some sort. Can't remember which. Its no competition/show system but its balanced.

My 190E has all Boston Acoustics in it. PO put some high end 3 ways component systems in the front and nice ones in the back too. Three JBL amps power everything.
