It`s pretty straight forward to do. Remove the 2 8 or 10mm bolts that mounts the Bushing to the body. Depending how the horizontal rod is set up on your model, there is a Clip or pin to remove and the verticle Rod that attaches to the Ball on the bushing. the Rod will then slip out of the Bushing.

123-300-13-40 81 - 83 240D and all the turbo Diesels W123 through 85. Pricy dang thing.

123-300-00-40 is used on the 80 240D. not sure of earlier years.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.
